Diagnostic Test [#permalink]  11 Jan 2019, 21:47
Hi!

I'm just starting my GRE prep and would like to take a diagnostic to understand my strengths and weaknesses. Which test should I be taking- ETS Test 1 or Manhattan Test? Should I be saving any of these tests to be taken later in my preparation?

Thanks

HI..

Since you are taking a diagnostic to understand your strengths and weaknesses, take the test that will give you the closest results and the closest will be ETS.

So take the ETS 1, and continue with your preparation thereafter to work on the weaknesses. It si during this period that you should take other mock tests including the Manhattans and greclub tests.

Keep the ETS 2 for the end of preparation to know the improvement. Ofcourse, you can pick up the paid mocks by ETS too.

All teh best with your prep.

Hi mehar,

Did you end up taking a diagnostic from ETS? If so, how did it go?

Hey Scott,

I took the free Manhattan practice test instead of ETS. I scored a 316: 159Q and 157V
