The mode is the most frequently-occurring value(s).
So, mode = 10


Mean \(=\frac{7+8+9+10+10+12+20+60}{8}=\frac{136}{8}=17\)

We get:
QUANTITY A: 10
QUANTITY B: 17

Answer: B

Arrange values in ASCENDING ORDER: M = {7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 12, 20, 60}

Since we have an EVEN number of values, the median = the average of the two middlemost values.
So, the median = (10 + 10)/2 = 20/2 = 10

The mode is the most frequently-occurring value(s).
So, mode = 10

We get:
QUANTITY A: 10
QUANTITY B: 10

Answer: C

quantity B is asking about mean not median! mean is definitely >10. The answer is B.
