Quantity A Quantity B The sum of Carol's height and Diane's height 2c centimeters

A)The quantity in Column A is greater.
B)The quantity in Column B is greater.
C)The two quantities are equal.
D)The relationship cannot be determined from the information given.

Here,

Carol height = c

Diane height = c - d (since d centimeter shorter than carol)

Therefore the sum of Carol's height and diane's height = c + c - d = 2c -d = QTY A

Now QTY B = 2c

So QTY A < QTY B
