The answer is D because given the proportion of marbles we cannot make any assumption on their number.

It may be that bag A contains 3 red marbles and 4 black marbles, while bag B 4 red marbles and 3 black so that quantities A and B are the same.

But it can also be the case that bag A contains 3 red and 4 black, while bag B contains 8 red and 6 black so that Quantity A is greater
