Assume \(W = 1\). and \(z= -1\)

Quanity A= \(\frac{W+z}{W-z}=\frac{1 - 1}{1 - (-1)}= 0\)

Quanity B= \(\frac{W+z}{-W+z}=\frac{1 - 1}{-1 -1)}=0\)

The quanities are equal.

Now assume \(W = 1\). and \(z= -2\)

Quanity A= \(\frac{W+z}{W-z}=\frac{1 - 2}{1 - (-2)}= \frac{-1}{3}\)

Quanity B= \(\frac{W+z}{-W+z}=\frac{1 - 2}{-2 -1}=\frac{1}{3}\)


Quanitity B is greater. Clearly a relationship cannot be determined.

Hence option D is correct!
