d) \(\frac{(m-1)}{rm}\)

e) \(\frac{(m-r)}{rm}\)

Explanation::

It may be confusing just feed some nos.

Let size of pizza be 8 and r = 4

then pizza eaten = 8/4 = 2 and pizza left = 6

now m =2 and each side will be 3

Therefore the fraction would be : 3/8

Now feed the value of r , m in the above equation , only option B will be correct.

Moreover algebraically:

Pizza eaten = 1/r

Pizza left = 1-1/r

Now pizza divided =(1-1/r)/m

fraction of the whole pizza =\(\frac{(r-1)}{rm}\)
