For statement 1,

We know area of the circle = π \(r^2\)

= π \((\sqrt{7})^2\)

= 7π


In Statement 2,

We know area of the circle = π \(r^2\)

= π \((\sqrt{14})/2)^2\) (Since here diameter is given so we divide it by 2 to get the radius)

= \(\frac{14}{4}\) π

= \(\frac{7}{2}\) π, which is less than statement 1

Hence option A

B has radius sqrt14/2<sqrt7

that gives area A> area B
