Analyzing my first practice test after switching from GMAT [#permalink] New post 06 Jan 2018, 13:38
I am recently switching over from taking the GMAT to the GRE instead. It seems like this was a better choice for me. I was typically getting scores in the 440-480 range on my GMAT.

I'm not sure how the scoring compares between the two tests, but the math felt more approachable in the GRE and I felt like I fare much better in vocabulary than sentence correction.

If my program's average is 307 (148 Verbal, 159 Quant) and my first score was 302 (151 Verbal, 151 Quant) how much can I improve within a month, realistically?

My test date is at the end of this month and I was planning on retaking again if necessary before my application deadline in March.

Thanks so much!

Hi,

first of all look our FAQ, they are quite useful to get used to the test https://greprepclub.com/forum/gre-study ... -3412.html then look ta which is the GRE test very interesting post https://greprepclub.com/forum/gre-test-7924.html

You score is on the average range but improve in one month 30/40 points is not an easy task but is doable. However, if your program wants 307 and you have 302 in one month you do have many change to achieve your goal.

Ask if you do have further questions

Regards
