Machines(M): 8
Hours(H): 7
Work per machine(W): W
Jobs(J): 14

So, we have

J = M * H * W
14 = 8 * 7 * W
Therefore, W = 1/4.

Similarly, to find Hours

34 = 17 * 1/4 * H

So we have Hours = 8hrs.
