As per the diagram below,

Let the original position of the bush be A, then it moves east to point B and then it moves South to point C.

Hence the distance AC will represent the distance in feet from the present location.

The distance AC can be found out by Pythagoras theorem

i.e. \(AC = \sqrt{{15^2 + 20^2}} = 25\)
