We can solve this question using matching operations
Given:
Quantity A: $$8+ (6 \times \frac{1}{14})$$

Quantity B: $$8 + \frac{3}{7}$$

Subtract 8 from both quantities to get:
Quantity A: $$6 \times \frac{1}{14}$$

Quantity B: $$\frac{3}{7}$$

Evaluate and simplify to get:
Quantity A: $$6 \times \frac{1}{14}=\frac{6}{14} = \frac{3}{7}$$

Quantity B: $$\frac{3}{7}$$
