We can solve this question using testing values

Case 1: x = 0
We get:
Quantity A: 3^0 = 1
Quantity B: 4^0 = 1
In this case, the two quantities are EQUAL

ASIDE: At this point, we know the correct answer is either C or D

Now try a different x-value
Case 2: x = 1
We get:
Quantity A: 3^1 = 3
Quantity B: 4^1 = 4
In this case, Quantity B IS GREATER

D is the correct answer by testing values with x = 0 , -1 and 1 will give you A=B, A>b, A <B
