Given: (3/4)y - 5 = 7
Add 5 to both sides: (3/4)y = 12
Multiply both sides by 4/3 to get: (4/3)(3/4)y = (4/3)(12)
Simplify: y = 16

So, we have:
Quantity A: 16
Quantity B: 16

Cheers,
Brent
