Explanation

In order to compare, use the calculator to find 0.4 percent of 4 percent of 1.25 (be careful with the decimals!):

0.004 × 0.04 × 1.25 = 0.0002
Or, as fractions:

$$\frac{0.4}{100}\times \frac{4}{100} \times 1.25=0.0002$$

Quantity B is greater.

I found this a little bit confusing with all those decimals. It might be time saving to just use a calculator on the test

This one was quicker using the calculator:

0.004 * .04 * 1.25 = 0.0002

This is smaller than 0.002.
