Q1: Since the total private donation for child safety in Sept 1989 is a bit more than 9 mln, we should divide 9^+ by 38 to get roughly 0.236, which in million is 236,842 that is near to D since the answers are very spread apart. Answer D.

Q2: it's again a matter of estimation. The ratio between homeless and animal rights in September 1985 to December 1989 is computed as 300/230 mln = 1.3. Among the answers, 4/3 = 1.3 thus the answer is C.

Q3: Using the formula of the percent increase, it's easy to check that Child Safety got the highest increase from September 1989 to October 1989. Answer E.
