As the ratio given is x/y = 6/7
also its given that x=15,
we can write
15/y=6/7

Hence, 6y=15*7

therefore, The value of Y is 17.5 !

Let's use equivalent ratios
We're comparing x/y

So, 6/7 = 15/y
Cross multiply to get: 6y = (7)(15)
Simplify: 6y = 105
Divide both sides by 6 to get: y = 17.5
